Mp3 player trouble? 10 points for help!?

i need to figure out how to get songs onto my mp3 player from windows media player. on another computer i would just plug in m mp3 player usb plug into my computer outlet and then a picture of my mp3 player would come up on the windows media player screen. i would drag my music files into the playlist box from my music folder that i created and then i would hit sync and it would go. on this computer the picture doesn't come up with the "sync" on to click. my computer does however recognize that i have a device hooked up to my computer, it just doesnt in WMP. help please?
