Sims 2 Castaway for PS2- Third Island Geyser Trouble.?

I have a chisel and a hammer, like its required. I go to inspect the boulder to move it, but it doesnt budge at all and only says Inspect. My Sim shrugs and walks away. Please help me figure out how to move the boulder.
