Why my brine shrimp die 2 days after hatching?

I have my brine shrimps hatched and they were healthy. I put them in a Tupperware with an air stone to aerrigate. I put baker's yeast as food. They lasted for two days. Today I checked. They were gone. There was this bad smell slime on the bottom of the Tupperware. Is it bacteria?
