NYS Court Officer,Anyone have any Info?

Hey Guys,Quick question .. I took the NYS Court Officer Exam last October (October 2009) Got my test resuls back early August (Score was 96.7/Rank # was 303) When I got the results back I basically stalked their offices asking them when they were gonna start calling people and everything and I was told late Fall and how my score and rank is out of almost 7000 people that took the test so I would definitely be called with the 'First Batch',but now I'm hearing so many different things from NYC Cops & friends & random average Joes about how that getting called for this kind of job will take forever and everything and I really want the position ASAP and nowlast week I just recieved a letter in the mail from upstate confirming my score/rank/and the original location I wished to be placed as well as the offering pay)... The offices also told me that they dont know when the next academy clas is,the last one began in August but IDK what to think anymore,anyone have any substantial advice or info,much appreciated & thanx in advance ;-)
