Weird, sort of threatening letter in the mail?

It seems more like a person that is just offended by the idea of the American flag all raggedy and torn apart (even though it's a Confederate flag!). Your best bet is to try to take down that flag altogether. Maybe you and your daughter could make your "own" flag with paints and art supplies and hang it up where the flag used to be or over the flag.
